Green Smoothie

Spinach is rich in a plethora of vitamins and minerals – especially iron – and has a mild flavour that helps make a refreshing smoothie. Sauruses think it goes particularly well with something sweet like pineapple, and this is a great recipe to try. It’s perfect for breakfast, and will give you a boost of energy to get your day started. This is a great smoothie to mix your protein powder in if you’re a bodybuilder or an athlete, or if you just want a little extra protein!

You can use either fresh or frozen spinach; frozen will turn this smoothie into a healthy cooler perfect for summer.

Spinach Cooler by

Servings 4 large cups

  • 150 g spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • 600-700 g pineapple flesh
  • 1 large orange (peeled)
  • half a cucumber
  • 200 ml water
  • 50 g kale (optional)


  1. Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Enjoy!
